Alison Ney is the Program Administrator for The Robert Wood Johnson Scholars in Health Policy Research program at Harvard University. She is responsible for the administrative and financial management of the program and organization of program activities.
Alison has been at The Institute for Quantitative Social Science (previously known as the Center for Basic Research in the Social Sciences) since 2000. Before joining the Scholars in Health Policy Research program, she managed conferences, seminars and workshops in conjunction with faculty from The Institute, as well as the Faculty of Arts and Sciences Departments of Government, Economics and Psychology, the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs, the Kennedy School of Government and Harvard Business School. Alison oversaw The Institute's research grant programs and fellowship program for visiting scholars.
Prior to higher education, Alison worked in project management and account service at Boston advertising agencies and graphic design firms, including Hill, Holliday. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Boston University. She loves to travel. India, Italy and Saint John have been her favorite destinations to date.
