Katherine Swartz , Professor of Health Economics and Policy in the Department of Health Policy and Management at the Harvard School of Public Health, is the Program Director.

During the 2005-2006 academic year, three faculty are serving as associate directors:

Nicholas A. Christakis is Professor of Medical Sociology in the Department of Health Care Policy at Harvard Medical School and Professor in the Department of Sociology, and is an Attending Physician in the Palliative Medicine Program at Massachusetts General Hospital .

Gary King is the David Florence Professor of Government. He also serves as Director of the Institute for Quantitative Social Science, which houses the Scholars Program offices.

Joseph P. Newhouse is the John D. MacArthur Professor of Health Policy and Management. He is an economist and holds faculty appointments in three schools ( Harvard Medical School , the Kennedy School of Government, and the Harvard School of Public Health) as well as in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Harvard University .
